LRO Hospitality has acquired the 240-bedroom Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh, expanding its European portfolio with a prime city-centre hotel.
LRO Hospitality, the core-plus hospitality investment platform and joint venture between L+R and PGGM, has completed the acquisition of Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh, further expanding its growing European portfolio.
Located in the heart of Edinburgh, the 240-bedroom hotel occupies a prime position close to the city's Old Town, New Town and major transport links. The property features a restaurant and grill, terrace, lounge and fitness centre, serving both leisure and business travellers.
The acquisition follows LRO Hospitality's recent purchase of Marriott Brussels Grand Place and reflects the platform's continued focus on high-quality hotel assets in key European gateway cities.
Following completion, Iconic Hotels & Resorts will assume operations and management of the hotel, further strengthening its presence across the UK and Europe.
